Happy Half Birthday Baby!
I can't even believe that I'm writing this.
Today my little angel is 6 months old.
Just a little recap.
Here is the last picture taken of me, January 19th, the day before I had her.
Here is our first picture taken of us.
Here she is 6 months later.
Madeline Renee.
July 20th, 2009--6 months old.
19lbs 9oz. 26 3/4 inches.
At 6 months old:
*She is sitting on her own.
*She is rolling whenever set down.
*She reaches for anything in her grasp and automatically puts it in her mouth.
*She pulls the cross off the wall when laying on her changing table.
*She thinks the word 'purple' is hysterical.
*She loves the dogs and watches them in fascination.
*She pulls herself up into standing position.
*She kisses her babydoll.
*She waves, a little arm flailing wave to mimick the person waving at her.
*She babbles consistently, to anyone who will listen.
*She likes the sound of fingers snapping.
*She loves 'raspberries' on her belly and things tickling her face.
*She adores the outdoors, loves to sit in the grass and holds tight in the swimming pool.
*She is our entire world.

the masterpiece
I longed to paint.
You are the shining star
I reached for In my
ever hopeful quest
for life fulfilled..
You are my child.
Now with all things
I am blessed.

NYC 07.15.09
We took Madie to NYC for the day.
Our first stop was the subway.
Then it was on to the Hard Rock Cafe. Mommy's favorite place in the whole wide world. =]
Then Times Square...
and Toys 'R' Us.
Then we went to Central Park...
and the John Lennon 'Imagine' memorial.
